What We Value Most

When asked what you want to keep for a long time, what would it be? People might answer with love, career, family, friends, and for some, their privacy. Privacy is the one thing in life we can own that cannot be bought. It’s something we establish for others to respect, and yet, there are a lot of individuals who violate that request. It can really aggravate you to the point of wanting to punch the living hell out of the nosy bastards. But it’s not always that way. There are people who have good reasons for inquiring something private about you.

Actually, there are three possible reasons why people become snoopy little people.

They care.

Best case scenario for us if these people who try to divulge their way into knowing your secrets is because of caring for you. They worry too much about the way you feel that it shows by the way you act around people. They are taken by their concern about you that they need to know what’s going on so as to fashion something that could lift up the frown you pasted on your face. Some people even go as far as to buy even materialistic things just to cheer you up. I remember buying my little brother the tablet folio he wanted since he stepped foot in the techstore we saw while walking around the mall. I didn’t want to see him down so I did everything I could even the silliest of things.

They are curious.

Some people will go to the extent of destroying relationships, just so they can get what they want. What drives them to do such is the overwhelming curiosity that envelopes them every time a good gist will come up. Their curiosity has surpassed the gates that limit them from going over the fence and troubling the rest of the neighborhood. There comes a time when the person is a complete stranger, and still your curiosity is sparked by the unusualness of his actions. Not even a dim LCD screen protector is enough to stop you from looking over the messages they get from someone they are linked to.

They are bored.

The most cursory of reasons for someone’s initiative to go through someone’s privy. They can’t seem to find anything better to do, so they surrender to their urge to violate and grab what they can. Boredom can sure do real detrimental things to a person. These people can be tied to the curious ones, but the only difference is that they are not encompassed by any emotion whatsoever. I’m not saying they are steel-plated machinations. They are just bored, and when you are under it, you thrive to do whatever it takes to escape it.
