Dress Up!

You woke up one morning and checked the time from your smartphone, finding yourself late for an appointment. You swiftly got out of bed, ate a little or sometimes not at all, and took a bath like you are being chased. The moment you went off the bathroom, it’s time for you to dress up—only to realize that you are indecisive on what attire you are going to wear. Clock’s ticking fast signifying you have no time to lose so you grabbed clothes absent-mindedly for you’re in real haste. You have put them on and went off thinking you are geared enough just to stumble on how inappropriate your attire is. There are two choices, though: 1. Go home again and find a dress appropriate to the occasion, or 2.Endure the lofty glances from people and keep wishing for the event to be over.

It wouldn’t have happened if you have been keen with your choice of clothes, or we can also blame the clock for not waking you up. But the thing is, it all boils down to making a choice. As they say, life itself is a choice. And yet again, it’s better to choose clothes than can be flexible in a sense that it can be worn casually or with special occasions. Here are some tips on how to choose good clothes:

1.       Good fitting sets good clothing. What’s trending is not always hot for everybody. It blends with the right fit of the body. Wearing clothes that are too tight or too short will never make you look and feel good especially if you don’t have a slim figure. Long necks can be shortened by high collars and also short necklace. If you have short legs, don’t wear shoes with straps for it will shorten it more. Wear a scarf or belt that hangs down toward the legs to create an illusion that it appears longer. Wear larger print for the areas in which you want to be emphasized and smaller print for otherwise.

2.       Choose colors that match your tone. Everyone has an underlying skin tone that can be determined by either pinching your earlobes, the back of your hand or the tip of your fingers. If the color you see after a few seconds shows blue, pink, red-violet or rosy tones, you’ll look greater in cool colors. While peach, golden, bright warm red or coral tones suggests warm colors complements your tone.

3.       Match with the right accessories. With right accessories, you will appear fancied-up as long as it’s in tune with what you’re wearing. It can tell so much about you for it reflects your personality. Let’s take bags for example. You cannot just use any kind of bags. Day Brown bags can be worn with all colors except black. While Day Black bags match best with black, white, grey or taupe. Evening bags best fits with jewelries gold or silver. If you have time to get accessories for mobile phones, all the more you have to be vigilant with your accessories. Dress up your mobile as you dress yourself, or better yet, jibe your phone with your clothing. It adds up the funkiness and instills vigor as you focus with the details on your apparel.

So when oversleeping impends, (God forbid) you can now be more confident with your outfit because you are well geared up with these tips in choosing fine clothes. Dressing-up is like looking for a best cell phone case for your device. It may take a while streaming over catalogs, online shops, or  on fleeting visits to malls, but it’ll be worth it once you have known the means of dressing up.
